The newly recruited civil servants in Cross River State have been charged on integrity, discipline and efficiency.
Cross River State Governor, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, gave the charge on Tuesday, July 22, when he declared open a two-day orientation and induction workshop for newly employed civil servants.
Represented by Deputy Governor Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, the Governor congratulated the recruits and described their appointment as “a partnership in advancing the state’s development”.
He urged them to “uphold integrity, discipline, and efficiency”, while emphasizing the government’s commitment to ongoing reforms and workforce strengthening.
The event, held at the College of Health Technology Auditorium, featured goodwill messages from the Commissioner for Establishments, Training, and Pensions, the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, and the State Accountant-General.
