Gov Oborevwori, Ex-CAN President, PFN Leaders to Storm Delta Church for Inauguration

The Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, former national president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), His Eminence Papa Ayo Oritsejafor and other prominent personalities across political, religious and business divides would grace the inauguration of the
Christ Gospel Church of Nigeria in Delta, PillarToday gathered, Monday.

The National President of the Church, Rev Dr. Abraham Ohwotuemuho, who disclosed this to Journalists, said the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), National Vice President South -South, Archisbishop Dr. Emmah Gospel Isong,
Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Delta State Chapter, His Lordship, Bishop Abos Willie and other men of God would also be in attendance.

In a chat, Ohwotuemuho expressed gratitude to prominent church leaders in the country for their support, saying, “We appreciate the unquenchable zeal of our fathers of faith in keeping the pentecostal fire burning despite the numerous insecurity challenges threatening the church and the nation.”

Shedding more light on the event, the Inauguration Committee Chairman, Rev Dr Ime Johnson, who spoke on the behalf of the group called ‘Sons and Daughters of Abraham,’ said the event is scheduled for the second week of April 2026 at Glory Land Hall, Orerokpe, Delta State.

He described the inauguration ceremony as a significant milestone for the church, stressing that the leadership was eager to welcome guests from different parts of the country.

He urged Christians to continue to pray fervently for the nation and the church, citing 1 Thessalonians 5:17, which says, “Pray without ceasing.”

“We should continue to pray and trust that God will intervene in our nation’s affairs,” he stated.
