Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu has described the glorious resurrection of “our Lord Jesus Christ, as a powerful reminder of hope, victory, and the reality of a new beginning for humanity”.
In an Easter message, she said, “He is risen indeed, and through His resurrection, we are reassured that light will always triumph over darkness. On this joyous occasion, may the spirit of Easter fill your heart with love, peace, and renewed faith.
This season reminds us of the beauty of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for the redemption of Mankind. He was innocent, yet persecuted and crucified. Evil thought it won; but it was all part of Gods script and plan to save the world!
“As we reflect on the true meaning of this sacred celebration, may we draw strength from the ultimate sacrifice and embrace a life of compassion, kindness, and unwavering faith in all that we do”.
