Betta Edu Emphasizes Unity, Peace, Renewed Hope in God’s Love at Christmas

Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu has emphasized the need for unity, peace and renewed hope in God’s love at Christmas.

In her message, Edu extended her warm Christmas greetings to all as “we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, whose life and teachings continue to inspire love, peace, sacrifice, and hope across the world”.

Merry Christmas to all Nigerians and lovers of Nigeria across the globe, as we celebrate the season of peace, love, and renewed hope, she declared.

This season, she said, “provides an opportunity to reflect with gratitude on the year drawing to a close, acknowledging God’s grace and guidance that have sustained us through moments of progress and challenge.

“The resilience, unity, and goodwill shown by Nigerians remain a source of encouragement and confidence for a more peaceful and prosperous future”.

Edu stated that, “the values of Christmas-love, compassion, generosity, and selfless service-serve as a timely reminder of our shared responsibility to care for one another and to work collectively for national unity and development.

“In line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, this season calls for collective support for ongoing efforts to strengthen security, promote economic stability, and build a safer, more inclusive Nigeria for all citizens”.

She called for sustained cooperation with government institutions and security agencies, “because lasting peace can only be achieved when national security, the foundation for development, investment, and social harmony, is collectively protected.

“Support for a shared vision of a better Nigeria for all and commitment to securing lives and property will not only reinforce national stability but also ensure that the promise of renewed hope becomes a shared reality for present and future generations of Nigerians”.
