“Please let me, on behalf of all the women of Akwa Ibom State, appreciate this Angel standing here. Most people wondered if she would be able to do the job. I want to tell you that she has done well,” Senator Eyakenyi noted.
Senator Eyakenyi who thanked all the female stakeholders in the state for supporting the coordinator in the creditable discharge of her duties, expressed appreciation to Governor Umo Eno for his commitment to inclusive governance, noting that his administration has intentionally remained women-friendly.

In a sermon on the theme of the service “Rejoice,” Bishop Enobong Essien, who drew biblical reference from Joel 1:12, expounded that Christians must rejoice at all times irrespective of prevailing circumstances because it is a command from God.
She highlighted that those who have the lifestyle of rejoicing enjoy good health, are beautified, commune with God, have joy unspeakable, and have unhindered access to the supernatural realm among other physical and spiritual benefits.
The December edition of the Akwa Ibom Monthly Women Prayer featured thanksgiving by different groups including the Noble Ladies Better Life who donated school bags and wrappers in support of activities carried out by the Golden Initiative for All (GIFA), during the Yuletide season.
Others were women born in December who gave gratitude to God for his benevolence all through the year, as well as members of the Deputy Governor’s Prayer Team who were thankful for the promotion of Dr Utibeno John Udo, to the office of Bishop.
