Calabar, the Cross River Capital will on Monday April 13, 2026 witness an unprecedented influx of people from all over the world and significantly from all walks of life as Brotherhood of the Cross and Star flags off the Universal Celebration of the 25th anniversary of the physical coronation of His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu.
Briefing Journalists in a crowded world press conference that was held at Sen. Bassey Otu Hall, State Library Complex, Calabar, recently, the spokesman of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Dr. Amah Williams highlighted the activities expected in the week-long event that will reach it’s climax on Saturday, April 18 at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar to include Spiritually enriching activities, Free Medical Outreach by BCS Health workers, the consecration of Bishops elect and Archbishops, the formal unveiling of BCS Germany 4th anniversary Celebration, King of Kings Silver Jubilee Special media award among other Programmes.
He revealed that “since the Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the Founder and Sustainer of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star physically coronated the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, His Holiness, Olumba Olumba Obu in fulfillment of the visions of Daniel 25 years ago, His Holiness has remained a beacon of truth, unity and salvation, guiding millions across nations towards the path of Godliness and Universal Brotherhood adding that this period has not only witnessed Spiritual Consolidation, administrative reorganisation, priestly development, infrastructural expansion, institutional growth and broad human development but has also seen the Kingdom grown from strength to strength”.
According to him today, through the spiritual impact of His Holiness, there is no continent on earth without a considerable presence of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.
The Brotherhood spokesman told journalists that His Holiness does not speak in vein as what he says comes to pass since they carry divine weight and effect.
And to butress this fact, Dr. Williams said for Cross River State, the Holy Father has blessed this state as his declarations last year during the Living Breath Of God event at the UJ Esuene Stadium, that he has blessed Cross River State with numerous natural resources including crude oil is already yielding fruits and you are witnesses to the imminent return of Cross River State as an oil producing State, through recent advanced hydrographic and reserviour mapping confirmed by relevant agencies, Cross River will soon emerge as a leading State in Nigeria with large deposits of oil and gas along other solid minerals .
He also recalled with glee that His Holiness had earlier predicted in Asaba, Delta State that Nigeria will go back to the old National Anthem and it came to pass.
While thanking the people of Cross River State for their cooperation and warm embrace of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, the Holy Father urged them to be stead-fast and see what God will do in this great land.
As regards Nigeria, according to Dr. Williams, the Holy Father has declared that those who govern the country should always know that Nigeria is loved by God and therefore no one should fan the embers of disunity nor perpetrate violence .
He posited that many Nigerians are burdened by hunger, inflation, fear and uncertainty because the country is passing through a transformative phase stressing that with God this gathering storm of hopelessness will birth a new era of peace and prosperity.
While the Holy Father has admonished that leadership must serve the people with justice, responsibility and compassion, he, however warned that the weak must not be trampled upon and public office must not become a tool for intimidation, greed or self-enrichment.
