The Leader of Ubium South in Nsit‑Ubium Local Government Area, Dr. Dan Akpan, has graciously engaged with the people of the tri‑ward constituency at his residence in Ikot Okpudo on Wednesday, 26 November 2025.
The gathering, which can be described as a grand homecoming celebration, witnessed a remarkable turnout of stakeholders, elders, women, and youths from the three wards of Ubium South, across party lines.
Prior to the main event, the Executive Chairman of Nsit Ubium Local Government Council, Hon. Alfred Charles, made a brief stopover to solidify his support to the APC leadership of Ubium South, ably led by Dr. Dan Akpan.

In his speech, Dr. Akpan expressed gratitude to God for his grace and satisfaction for hosting his people, assuring them that Pastor Umo Eno, under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC), is committed to bringing equitable sustainable development to the people of Nsit Ubium L.G.A and Ubium South in particular.
Ahead of Pastor Umo Eno’s 2027 re-election, Dan Akpan urged the people to stand firmly behind the Governor, encouraging those yet to register and obtain their voters’ cards to do so, thereby contributing their quota towards re-electing Governor Eno.
“I am glad to have this crucial meeting with my people today. As we all know, our golden son, Pastor Umo Eno, is the governor of this great state”.

“All we need to do is to support and stand with him to complete his eight‑year term under the APC platform, just as others have done.
“And to those of you who are yet to get your PVC, go and register now and be ready to cast your vote for Pastor Umo Eno and APC come 2027. Together, we shall re-elect our Governor”.
In their collective remarks, the stakeholders comprising the APC chapter chairman for Nsit‑Ubium, Hon. Johnson Udoka; Dr. Chris Enoch; Obong Ime Gamble; Surveyor Victor Uko; and Mrs. Margaret Victor, extolled Obong Dan Akpan for his exemplary leadership and reaffirmed their unequivocal support and that of the people for Governor Eno and the APC, extending their commitment beyond 2027.
