Cross River Government will on November 17, commence verification of 2024 Forest Guard Recruits in the state.
Accordingly, the State Civil Service Commission is by this notice, requesting all the Forest guards that were recruited in 2024, to report for a compulsory verification and validation exercise, starting on Monday November 17 through Wednesday,, November 19.
A statement by the Chairman, Commission, Sir Maurice Effiwat, said, the exercise is holding at the Cross River State Forestry Commission headquarters in Calabar, beginning by 9am on each of those days.
All affected Forest Guards are to appear physically with the originals and photocopies of their credentials, including two recent passport photographs.
This exercise is in line with Governor Bassey Edet Otu’s People First mantra of always listening to the yearnings of Cross Riverians.
Payment of salaries to the verified Forest Guards, will be effected immediately, at the conclusion of the one-week verification exercise.
