Gov. Eno Visits Barr. Wilson Over Mother’s Demise

‎A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mkpisong Inam Wilson has reiterated his admiration for the people -oriented leadership of  Governor Umo Eno, and has pledged continued support.

He spoke during a condolence visit on his family by a delegation from the Governor, over the demise of his mother, Mrs. Roseline Bethel Inam who passed on at the age of 83.

Mkpisong Wilson said he has been a distant admirer of the Governor, embracing and keying into his ARISE Agenda of Agriculture and Entrepreneurship development in the State.

He said, he has in his own little way cultivated farms and opened some ventures to employ several young people in the State, adding that it was due to the template set by the Governor.

He appreciated Gov Eno for his encouragement and support to him and his family  in their moment of grief, saying that even though grief-struck by the incident , they were inspired by the Governor’s kind gestures.

Mkpisong Inam along with his elder brother Pastor Odungide Inam and sisters,  described their mother, as a devoted christian and caring mother whose invaluable love and affection for all , will be deeply missed.

“Please tell the Governor that he has a distant admirer who is inspired by his humane approach to governance”, Inam said.

“I am very proud of my State, and anywhere I find myself, I do my best to project the image of my state and her people”, he added.

‎Pastor Eno who was represented by his Special Assistant on Humanitarian Affairs, Elder Prince Nsikanabasi Umoekpo, expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and urged Barrister Inam Wilson to remain strong during this period of grief.

“The Governor has sent this high powered delegation to you, as a demonstration of his heartfelt condolences to the family in this very difficult moment.

“He wants you to continue in Mama’s footsteps of serving God diligently, knowing that the crown of victory awaits the chosen of the Lord. “

‎‎Among dignitaries who accompanied the Governor were; Mkpisong Frank Archibong , Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mrs Mfon Isreal, PA on humanitarian affairs, Pastor Inima Umoh, Special Assistant on religious matters, Dr Essien Ekefre Ndueso, SSA on research and documentation, Comrade Mfon Bassey, SA on Media among others

Dr Emmanuel Ekott, Founder of Heritage Polytechnic and Chief Iniobong Idem, top members of the burial planning committee were on ground to receive the Governor’s team in Eket.

The funeral ceremony comes up on Friday, October 17, at the Cenotaph Ground, besides Eket Stadium by 10am.
