Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu, has lauded Governor Bassey Otu on his results-driven approach to governance.
Dr. Edu who was speaking on the backdrop of the recent comprehensive renovation of the State Library and expanding the aviation sector with the acquisition of two state-owned aircraft, said the governor has done well.
In a statement on August 13, signed by her, Edu said, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, on the landmark achievements of the comprehensive renovation of the State Library and expanding the aviation sector with the acquisition of two state-owned aircraft”.
She said these transformative projects, commissioned by the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, “stand as clear proof of your administration’s unwavering dedication to infrastructure renewal, knowledge empowerment,and economic growth.
“In just two years of purposeful governance, you have demonstrated visionary leadership and a results-driven approach that inspire pride among the people of Cross River State and beyond”.
These accomplishments, according to her, will no doubt leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
