Aketi Bowl American Flag Football Finals Season 3 will come to an end today, Thursday as Akwa Ibom, Ondo and Lagos teams maintain dominance

The semifinals and final will hold today at the U.J.Esuene Stadium, Calabar, Cross River State.

The Nigeria American Football Association (NAFA) is hosted by the National Flag Football Tournament Finals, where 18 flag football teams from secondary schools in nine states are competing for glory and trophies.

Teams from Akwa Ibom, Ondo, and Lagos State have so far produced results that confirm their strong understanding and dominance in the sport. Defending Champions, Team Akwa male secured 20 points while Cross River had 0 point in the first game. Akwa Ibom also defeated Benue by 18-0. Lagos female team was better than Oyo state by 22 -6 points. Also, Ondo boys defeated Rivers State 26-0.

The President of NAFA was visibly pleased to witness the young players display outstanding talents in Flag Football. Mr. Akeredolu stated, “American football is here to stay, and we look forward to doing more for the country. Our missioniscreating opportunities throughAmericanFootball.”

According to Akeredolu, American Football has provided chances like coaching, umpiring, and careers with American teams in the United States, such as Cleveland Browns represented here by Browns Nigeria.
